we control the chaos behind a gun
ignore my previous post. i apologise for my narcissism.
i just read an essay by Serj Tankian (System Of A Down) yeah, i may be slow considering that it was on the internet two days after the 9/11 attacks.
but whatever. he made me think again about the current war situation in the Middle East. i mean, seeing all that crap on Friendster makes me wonder about the sad lives we're leading right now.
no ambition, no purpose, we just take pictures of ourselves with lousy cameraphones in the mirror.
PEOPLE! GET. A. LIFE.
and the essay. why are we fighting (and killing innocent civillians in the process) in a war that's meant to stop the violence?
i've always thought this was strange. but i forgot to blog about it.
this is either taking action immediately without forethought or being extremely childish.

what's the date? i seriously have no idea. that's a con of the holidays; you unknowingly disconnect yourself from reality and spend all your time (wasted) on myspace, watching all those dvds you wanted and playing with your cat.
okay, it applies to my case anyway.
anyway, on the 10th of june, which was x days ago (or maybe today), the Dresden Dolls' music video for Shores Of California was/is released!
and fyi, it's inspired by David Lee Roth's video for California Girls, hence the beach. or maybe that's all a coincidence.
